“The Audacity of Ignorance,” would be the perfect title for a book by Sarah Palin, the failed former governor of Alaska and failed former Republican vice-presidential nominee and failed mother whose teen daughter apparently never learned about the use of condoms.

Instead, Palin’s book is called “Going Rogue,” which sounds exactly like the sort of stupid things Palin likes to say.

Despite the fact that she has accomplished little, she seems to be a big draw in small towns where, says the New York Times, she is gathering crowds of the boastful ignorant who apparently want her autograph to go alongside the one they hope to eventually get from Glenn Beck.

Apparently, Palin is picking up a lot of former Obama fans…the ones who fell for the whole “give ‘em hope” crap. Only now, they are pissed that their hopes have been dashed, as they were destined to always be. So, they are apparently turning to the likes of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, whose books are also selling like conservative hotcakes.

So, I figure, why shouldn’t Palin and Beck team up and, well, run as a team for the White House?

Now there’s a scary thought. Because, in this country, at this point in time, it just could happen!  A Palin/Beck ticket for 2012.

And, you heard it here first!!!!
