Looks like President “W” set up a domestic surveillance operation of historic–and probably illegal–proportions, according to an Associated Press report quoting “a team of federal inspectors” who just issued a devastating report.
The five inspectors general say the Bush program featured “unprecedented collection activities.” And, worse still, most of these activities are apparently still top secret and on-going!
And, even though these surveillance programs began after 9/11, the report says, according to the AP, “most of the intelligence leads…did not have any connection to terrorism.”
It is not clear, apparently, whether Obama is continuing these Bush programs…but many indications suggest that he is!
So much for “change you can believe in!!!!!”
