Just a brief word about the Michael Jackson memorial today in Los Angeles.
I got to cover it from inside Staples Center…one of the more extraordinary “events” I have witnessed: Part funeral, part celebration, part concert!
Although there were many high powered performers there–friends of Jackson’s–the truest moment, it seemed to me, belonged to his young daughter who told the world what a great dad Jackson was to her in her short life thus far.
Not a dry eye in the stadium I bet!

1Michael Jackson would still be remembered as the only King of Pop. We would surely miss him.

2i would have liked to be there for sure!, it’s not the same watching it on tv than being just there. Well i listened to the girl speaking, got my eyes some tears, i think the same way all people there and in the other side of the screen got. I think this event was not all Michael deserved, he was really the king.
