It’s all supposed to be so hush-hush: the results of the Obama administration’s so-called stress tests of 19 of this country’s biggest banks. Only now, it looks like even Victoria will know the secret.

Although the original thought was to keep the info under a lid, according to the New York Times, the “O” administration is already coming up with a plan to “disclose the conditions” of these financial institutions as part of its on- going effort to “restore confidence in the financial system without unnerving investors,” says the Times.

This is good news. There has been far too much secrecy already in this bailout process and people need to know how their money–taxpayer money–is being spent.

Yes, some banks will clearly look worse than others. Too bad. It is what it is.
