Soon, your car may have an Obama sticker on it–not indicating you supported him during the election, but that your new car meets Obama’s greenhouse and fuel efficiency standards.
Obama is throwing out old Bush things faster that you’d dump a cartoon of spoiled milk down the drain.
The latest–ordering the Environmental Protection Agency to take another look (that is White House lingo for–DO IT!) at whether states such as California can set their own tougher auto emission and fuel mileage standards.
Bush said no. Clearly, Obama says yes.
The auto companies–what’s left of them anyway–hate this messy approach to building cars. But the fact is, it shouldn’t be all that messy. California is so freaking big and buys so many damn cars, the industry pretty much has to build vehicles to meet California standards.

1California leads the way in many things… unfortunately they still can’t get the spending under control. As far as emission standards I can tell you that california has always been the strictest and if you have ever been to LA you can understand why it’s needed!
I just think that the country needs to set this standard… have a roadmap in place and don’t allow state standards. I understand saving the envoirment but i also understand that enforcing new standards costs $$$$$ and if its to progressive then we will have even more problems!
