Where are your taxpayer dollars going after being poured into the coffers of major banks as part of a government bailout?
Apparently, according to an ABC News report, banks think that is none of your business!
Says ABC On-line : ” The U.S. government has provided $45 billion to Bank of America through the Troubled Assets Relief Program, but how that money has been used remains unclear.”
ABC says that when it asked for more information, it was basically stonewalled—the same way Congress has apparently been.
Click on link to ABC story to learn the sorts of questions the news organization tried asking banks that got your money to bail them out and find out just how unresponsive most of them were…and continue to be, even though some are coming back for still more taxpayer relief.
