Looks as if the one person who is not in control of this convention is Barack Obama. Ted Kennedy’s speech–even when suffering from a probable fatal brain tumor–made Obama’s rhetorical skills seem pale by comparison.
Obama’s wife gave a speech that makes one wonder whether she plans on a political career herself. Pretty good.
And, the Clinton camp continues to deal with the Obama camp about the scripted “roll call” symbolic vote that will place Hillary’s name in nomination.
Meantime, all eyes are on Bill..who else?…and what he will say, or not say during his speech.
True this convention has a few more days to go. But it will be interesting to see what opinion polls right after the convention closes will reveal about how much of a problem the Democrats may or may not have going into November.
