On The Road To Afghanistan: Barack Obama’s Magical Mystery Tour

Since he is already acting like and being treated like he is president, it probably makes sense that Barack Obama is now on Afghan soil.
It was one of those hush-hush trips where no one knew his travel plans, except segments of the news media obviously did though no reporters were apparently allowed to go with him to Afghanistan! The three star U.S. network news anchors plan on meeting up with Obama for some of the rest of his tour.
Security is the reason given for the mystery of movement–good political theatre is probably more like it.
Anyway, this is where Obama gets to see first hand some of what is going on in Afghanistan, which he says is the real place where the war on terrorism needs to be fought, and not Iraq ,which he says should not have been invaded by the U.S. in the first place.
Obama’s Wonderful World Tour
Obama, along with the three anchors of the three major U.S. network news shows, also plans on meeting several European leaders–all part of his “learning” curve.
You can be certain that John McCain and his supporters will be watching and listening to everything Obama does and says while overseas, waiting to pounce on even the slightest slips or mistakes Obama might make.
The problem is, Obama, who already has shown a distaste for showing that he has any sense of humor, may get even stiffer in order to demonstrate his gravitas. But by doing so, the only thing he might show is–how little humor he has.
