“Hello! Get Me Re-Write” White House Wants To Re-Write Evidence

For years, the Bush administration has kept alleged terrorist suspects under lock and key in Cuba hoping to try and -it would seem–convict them by a military tribunal as quickly as possible.
Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court sort of screwed those plans up by ruling that the detainees had the right to have their cases reviewed by a civilian judge in a civilian courtroom.
So, what does the White House decide to do about all this?
Why, re-write the evidence that was used to hold all these people in the first place so that it could stand up to any judicial review, according to the Associated Press.
In other words, the “evidence” was either made-up or very weak, otherwise there would be no problem showing it to a federal judge!
Hopfully the courts will see through this cynical and very un-American version of “justice.”
