Barack Obama Sinking In New Poll : Fox News Channel

Is Barack Obama sinking? That may well be an overstatement, but it is safe to say that he is taking on a lot of water and is in danger of going under.
Says who? Says the results of a new Fox News poll just out.
Obama’s favorable rating is going south–according to FOX: “Nearly half of Democrats (48 percent) think Hillary Clinton has a better chance of beating John McCain in November, 10 percentage points higher than the 38 percent who think Barack Obama can win.”
As recently as March, more Democrats said Obama was the more likely Democrat to beat McCain in a general election. As FOX puts it, this is a “significant shift.”
Take Me To Your Leader?
Worse still for Obama, the Fox poll shows that Democrats favor Clinton as the party leader.
And then, there is the “wimp” factor: The Fox poll shows that “many more Democrats describe Clinton as ‘tough’ and as being more in touch with the American people than Obama.
Can a “wimp” –real or perceived–get elected President of the United States in 2008?
I doubt out.
