Tomorrow is the BIG day! Maybe, though we’ve heard it before. But, this time, it does appear as if Hillary Clinton’s continued candidacy for the Democratic Party presidential nomination could very well hinge on the outcome in the Pennsylvania primary.
According to a Reuters report, Barack Obama is actually struggling to win white votes–having turned many white voters off with his remarks concerning small town bitterness. His association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, says the report, is also not doing him any favors among many white voters in the state.
“He is saying people are weak, dumb and naive and they are seeking religion as a way of getting though,” Reuters quotes one state resident as saying. “He didn’t help himself,” said the man, described as a white truck driver.
Clinton Needs Big Win To Stay Viable
In order to keep superdelegates from defecting to Obama, Clinton needs not only a win
tomorrow, she needs to win by a very comfortable , if not large, margin over Obama.
Opinion polls are all over the map about who is leading whom and by how much, so it looks like we will have to actually wait for the results of the voting (strange concept?) to find out.
