Pity “Poor” John McCain-Must Run UnConventional (No Money) Campaign!

What a freaked up world!   Time was when Republican presidential candidates would be rolling in gold going into a campaign for the White House–the conventional wisdom being that GOP fundraisers have deeper pockets than their Democratic Party counterparts.

But, John McCain is breaking that mold.

Largely because McCain is viewed with suspicion by many Republican Party regulars, he’s had an unusually difficult time raising money—difficult for a Republican that is.

The Money Machines

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have been raising more money combined that most medium sized nations. Not so poor John McCain who is being forced to carry on a rather unconventional presidential campaign, relying as much as possible on free media.

Richard Nixon must be twisting in his grave!  Talk about changing times.
