World’s Smallest Girl-1Ft 11 inches-Talk About Coming Up Short!

Yes, this is apparently true –if you believe the British newspaper Telegraph. It says the Indian Book of Records lists 15 year old Jyoti Amge as “the world’s smallest girl” coming in at one foot, eleven inches tall!

The paper claims the girl has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia and is fully grown.

The paper quotes the girl as saying she is proud of being small and loves the attention she is getting!

Practical matters

Okay, if we accept it as fact that the young girl is only 1ft, 11inches tall (short?) many questions are raised: Can she find a boyfriend near her own height? The average guy standing say 5′9 inches would be able to carry her around in his pocket!

Also, if she goes to the movies, how many phone books would she have to sit on to see over the head of the person in front of her?

There are other issues, of course, but some would be far too gross to go into with any detail.

All I can say is, if you happen to be in India and hear a shriek when you take a step, please look down below, you may have just crushed Jyoti Amge
