Two major blows today to Sen. Hillary Clinton’s efforts to become the nation’s first female president.

Most observers, and Clinton herself, views a win in the forthcoming Pennsylvania primary to be a must if her campaign has any chance to continue.

But, one of that states’ senators, Bob Casey,Jr., has now come out in support of Barack Obama.

And, that’s not all: Her “friend” (in politics, “friend” has a much different definition than elsewhere) Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy is saying she should step aside and make way for Obama to be the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee.

Great friends,right!

Clinton: “I like long movies.”

The Associated Press reports that asked to respond to Obama’s comment that the primary race was like “a good movie that lasted about a half-hour too long,” Clinton shot back, “I like long movies.”

Clinton is busy telling crowds that, despite the odds against her, and there are many,  “I know a little bit about comebacks. I know what it’s like to be counted down and counted out. But, I also know there is nothing that will keep us down if we are determined to keep on.”

Maybe. But, easier said than done.
