Will every politician in America who has had an affair please raise their hands so we can get this over with?

Just as New York has shed a governor who was having sex with prostitutes, New York’s new governor, David Paterson, now says he, too, had an affair that lasted many years while his marriage was on the rocks—which certainly is one way to put it. In fact, he says he had affairs with numerous women in the past few years.

But, don’t go feeling too sorry for the Mrs.

Not only was Gov. Paterson cheating on his wife, his wife was cheating on him at the same time!

Apparently rumors were going fast and furious in Albany that the new governor and his wife had both had affairs. So, they gave an interview with the New York Daily News and confirmed it.

Paterson apparently was screwing around from 1999 till 2001–not known how long his wife was.

“This was a marriage that appeared to be going sour at point. But ,I went to counseling and we decided we wanted to make it work,” Paterson told the paper.
