Obama foreign policy advisor Samantha Power is walking the plank on behalf of the great Barack.

She “quit” (which means fired) as Obama’s advisor after The Scotsman newspaper quoted her as saying Hillary Clinton is a “monster.”

Power says she is resigning with deep regret and that her comment was inexcusable.

And, here’s the part  I love. Says Power, as quoted by Reuters, “I made inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from my oft-stated admiration for Senator Clinton and from the spirit,tenor and purpose of the Obama campain.”

Nice touch, but as fake as the candidate’s persona.
