Clinton Primary Wins Freeze Superdelegates In Place

Some Democratic superdelegates are getting cold feet and have decided NOT to ask Hillary Clinton to bow out of the presidential race and make room for Barack Obama.
According to a Bloomberg dispatch, “a group of uncommitted superdelegates were ready to make a show of support for Obama by trying to pressure Clinton to give up,” Bloomberg quotes Tim Roemer, a former congressman.
He tells Bloomberg that some of those superdelegates may still support Obama, but in light of Clinton’s wins in Ohio and Texas, they will not call upon her to concede!
Said one Congressman quoted by the news service, “Instead of being a slam dunk for Obama, it’s a horse race again.”
