Hillary Comes Out Swinging In Ohio Debate; Obama Follows Her Lead

A fiesty Hillary Clinton emerged at the last debate with Barack Obama before the Ohio and Texas primaries next week.
The gloves were clearly off as Clinton took aim at media coverage of Obama, citing a recent Saturday Night Live sketch making fun of what some believe to be the media’s unfair and largely favorable coverage of Sen. Obama.
She underlined that she was always given the first question at the debates…which usually gives the advantage to the second person speaking because the general framework for the answer had already been constructed.
Clinton refused to yield on the issue of health care, turning a deaf ear to host Brian Williams’ pleas to move on to another topic.
For the first time, Obama seemed to be following Clinton’s lead, often having to begin his answers by saying how much he agreed with Clinton’s positions on a variety of issues.
It is too bad that Clinton didn’t strike this pose early on; it may be too late now to affect any change in the outcome of the nomination process.
But, then again, maybe it will?

Prior to Hillary’s comment about being asked first, I was blatantly clear to me that Obama had the advantage because he could sit back and listen and build his answer off of her. That being said, she did not handle her comment well. She lost power by the way she said it.
It seemed as if The moderators were doing their best Tonya Harding to Hillary’s Nancy Kerrigan.
Tim Russert who has given republicans pass after pass on Meet the Press has been extremely rough on Clinton. In the after debate show Russert and Matthews had such glee and joy in their eyes as they talked about finally caching the marlin in reference to Hillary wishing she could take back that vote.
When Brokaw mentioned that Hillary jumped in and answered a questins first that was open ended and not pointed to either candidate to answer first, I suggest he go back and look at his eye contact. He ended the question and threw his eye contact at Hillary, hence she answered.
Ultimately, Hillary was debating all three men in last nights debate.
