Who won the debate, Hillary or Barack?374542734_54583abclinton.jpg

I see the Internet is buzzing with all sorts of opinions on this one. Some say Hillary won. Some say Barack won. Those who say Barack won are simply wrong and make me wonder whether they are qualified to even vote in an important Presidential election such as this historic one?

One blog I just glanced at said Barack won because he was basically cool, chill. Now there’s a good reason to vote for someone to be president.

Why Hillary Won

Hillary won because for once, this time, she took no crap from Barack. She fought him tooth and nail. Her command of facts was impressive. She showed good humor but also good judgement in many of her answers.I loved how after she said she would insist on renegotiating NAFTRA , Obama meekly agreed that that is what he would do, too.

Me Too Candidate

In fact, it occurred to me tonight that Obama is not the candidate of change, he’s the “me too candidate.”Whatever Clinton is for, why he’s for it ,too. Of course, he says he’d do it better than she, but wouldn’t it be nice if he at least had an original idea or two?

Wow. So far most people are disagreeing with you. I think at this point, most of us have made our choice, and, although, emotionally, I would love to argue the point, I will just leave it at many people would argue the exact opposite of your opinion.

I have to echo the sentiment of joe B. I like your blog, and I was an independent voter until now. I was wating for something special from Hillary to push me over the top, but at times she seemed desperate. Convince me I should vote for her over Obama or McCain, but right now my vote is Obama, McCain, then Hillary. I actually felt bad for her.

Hillary didn’t win. That SNL comment was ridiculous. I thought Obama pulled it off.

It is amazing to me that only now you realize that there is a parrot in the room when Hillary talks. Obama has done nothing but “xerox” everyting she says….go back and listen to the debates and you will the repetition so glaringly that you have wonder how anyone would vote for Obama.

Hillary does not need your sympathy - but you do need her as she is the only one who can put “backbone” into the Democratic party.

You’ll vote whatever way you want….but just be clear with you vote for Obama.

    VOTE = OBAMA = McCain.

Stop listening to the pundits and actually do some fact checking and you will see there is only one choice for President.

I am still amazed how blind some are to Barack Obama’s habit of taking a Clinton proposal and then trying to make it sound as if he thought of it.
Hillary was right the other day: “Shame on you,Obama!”

Here in Australia, our new Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, adopted a “me too” policy to get elected in November 2007. Now that he is elected, he has no ideas of his own, and so is convening a talkfest shortly with 1000 of Australia’s brightest, to give him ideas!! I’ve been following your election on cable news channels here in Australia and Obama has clearly taken lessons from our Kevin Rudd.

The world agrees that Obama won. This is the presidential candidacy here and people need to move on facts and not just because they like hillary. She
the CNBC called her out on her NAFTA flip flop, it took 20 debates for her to admit her vote for Irag was incorrect. she spoke out of turn first of all and that was just flat out rude. I was for Hillary in the beginning of the Democratic race but the more
I learned about Obama you cant just deny the potential we have a country. Especially when you get rid of the arrogance in politics and special interests that have plauged the U.S. Why wont hillary release her tax statements? Hillary followers refuse to see facts and it is so sad.

Feldman nails it again. Obama would create a sensation by asking Lewis to “keep the faith” and honor his pledge to Hillary. At least for the first round of voting at the convention.

Not because “it’s the rules” but because it would begin to heal the party. It’s not about race; it’s about honor.

That wonderful balance of sincerity and phoniness might help these two laugh a little more and lighten up.

Maybe the uncommitted superdelegates should get together and invite the candidates for a reality TV show. No committed delegates. No fan clubs.

At the end of each session the uncommitted superdelegates could vote out the delegates who really had made their choice or a backroom deal.

Or why not start the debates and have McCain take on both Democrats with one hand behind his back?
