What is it about Florida and elections? Florida, indirectly, gave us the Bush presidency. Now, it may atone for that sin if it ends up giving the U.S. another Clinton presidency.
Yes, I know, the Democratic Party punished Florida because it moved its primary up against Party rules and wishes.
But, Hillary Clinton is fighting hard to have Florida’s delegation…the delegates she won…seated at the convention in Denver this summer.
If she pulls that off, along with wins in at least Texas and Ohio, plus the backing of superdelegates, she just might grab the nomination right out from under Barack Obama.
That, however, is uncertain at this time.
But, boy, is Florida turning out to be a huge pain in the ass!!
Maybe Floridians just shouldn’t be allowed to vote at all? Then, maybe we’d actually have a smoothly run presidential election?
