Hillary,Hillary,Hillary. How are you screwing this up so badly?
You’d have to be deaf, dumb and blind (no offense meant if you happen to be one of them) not to recognize that Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is in BIG trouble…as in…REALLY BIG trouble.
Today, Clinton replaced her campaign manager with a long time aide.
The “spin” is that Patti Solis Doyle was worn out from this historically protracted campaign and needed a rest. But, if you believe that you probably believe that E.T. is a real creature who is now all grown up and holding down a mortgage brokers job on a distant planet. (Actually he is, but that’s another story.)
The reason why Clinton is dumping her campaign manager…and make no mistake about it…she is being dumped like a Tony Soprano hit..is because Barack Obama is , excuse the expression, kicking Hillary’s ass!
Just today, Obama won Maine. Yesterday, Obama won Louisiana,Washington and Nebraska and is considered the shoe-in ,in Maryland,Virginia,D.C.,Wisconsin and Hawaii.
That leaves Ohio,Texas,Rhode Island and Vermont to turn Clinton’s sinking ship around.
Clinton’s new campaign manager is her longtime aide Maggie Williams.
Yeah, that’ll do it! That will bring it home for Hillary.
Bullcrap. It won’t.
Election of the Living Dead-Americans in Trance
A large number of Americans are seemingly in a trance-like state, chanting Obama’s mantra of “change” without even knowing what he or they mean by that.
In the end, voters get what they deserve. They got George Bush not once, but twice.
Are you proud of that one??
Clinton increasingly is putting her hopes on Superdelegates, party leaders and such, who are ,in theory, not bound to any candidate and can vote for whomever they think would bring the Democratic Party together.
Clinton has more Superdelegates than Obama at this point. But, that could change. And, even if it didn’t, could these Superdelegates end up tossing out a candidate seemingly more popular with the people in exchange for a candidate more popular with party officials and big-wigs?
The sad thing is, just a few short months ago, it was thought the Democrats had their act together and would easily nominate Clinton, while the Republicans couldn’t decide on a frontrunner.
But, the tables have been turned and it is now the Republicans who seem ready to annoint John McCain that party’s nominee while the Democrats may have to battle it out on the convention floor in Denver this summer or make some back-room deals before then to head off a fiasco.
As Walter Conkite used to say—And that’s the way it is!

1Hillary needed all the help she could get. I think it was a good move for her. Thanks for the article.
