Clinton-Obama & A “Secret” Deal??

More and more news stories are appearing saying the Clinton-Obama contest may be headed for a brokered convention in Denver, something that hasn’t happened since before many of the delegates going to the convention were born.

The problem, of course, is neither Clinton nor Obama have scored a knock-out punch and neither may end up with the majority of needed delegates to clinch the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

The problem is less that there might be a slug-out on the convention floor, than that some sort of “deal” may be struck behind closed doors prior to the convention by party leaders and elders–the so-called Super delegates.

Could they dare select a nominee who ,perhaps, got the popular vote but not the needed delegates? Or, might they pick a nominee who lost the popular vote but won the majority of delegates?

Look for the Lifeboats

What a mess.

We have apparently learned little from the Gore-Bush fisasco and may be headed for another shipwreck. Good time to look for the lifeboats!
