Mitt Romney Bows Out:Yet Another Flip-Flop For This Flop

Didn’t Mitt Romney promise just the other day that he is in the GOP presidential nominating contest till the bitter end?

So, how is that today the guy bails? Nice that he is a man of his word. He’s flip-flopped so much in his political career, he’d be a natural for President, so too bad he has taken his curtain call.

The fact that he pretty much can’t win anything is probably the reason.

Don’t fret for Romney, though. He is reportedly going to take his money and buy Costa Rica.

That leaves us with John McCain, the Un-Republican, on the Republican side as well as every redneck’s favorite son, Mike Huckabee. (I still think it sounds like a fast food joint:”Hey,let’s go to Huckabee’s for a burger and shake.”)

The only thing now standing in McCain’s way to become the Republican Party presidential nominee is the hatred most Republicans have of the guy. If he gets the job, it would sort of be like giving the Miss America crown to someone from Bulgaria.

Should we all be just a wee bit scared that Republicans don’t think McCain is Republican enough? What do you think?

And that brings us to the fast food joint, Mike Huckabee. Here’s a man who shed something like 2,000 pounds to run for president and is as smooth a talker asĀ  a snake oil salesman or television news anchorman.

Can Huckabee get the nomination? Of course not. Can Huckabee get elected President? Of course not, since he won’t get the nomination. Can Huckabee open an awesome dinner near some Arkansas Interstate? Sure. And he’ll offer real maple syrup, too. None of that fake sugar crap. Save that for Mitt Romney.
