Should Barack Obama Marry Hillary Clinton?

Here’s a question CNN didn’t raise during tonight’s “debate” between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton: Maybe the two should marry one another!

Watching the so-called debate was more like watching two people on a first date. They each were soooooooo polite and bent over backwards to avoid hurting the other’s feelings.

My first impression was: These two are so much alike in world view, a Clinton/Obama ticket would be unbeatable.

But then it occured to me: Why not take it a giant step further and marry one another?

Debates are supposed to be knock down battles to prove which one is the superior candidate.

Instead, we got almost two hours of such fuzzy warmth between the two, glaciers were probably melting in the Arctic.

I know people SAY they are tired of nasty presidential campaigns. But, come one, tell the truth, wouldn’t you much rather see the two of them slap one another silly than whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears as they appeared to be doing at the end of the show?

Of course you would. Politics is fun when it is bold,dirty,nasty,arrogant,bullish.

No one wants “make nice.”
