Bush:You Can’t Hide Those Lying Eyes

Now this may or may not surprise you but, two—yes,two!–not for profit journalism organizations have done a study that concludes……..hold on here. Ready? It concludes that President Bush and his cronies “issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the tw years following the 2001 terrorist attacks,” reports the Associated Press.
Orchestrated campaign
The study , says the A.P., concluded that these statements “were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.”
No? Really?
Well, it is always good to have a study to back up what you already know to be the truth.
That study,by the way, was done by the Center for Public Integrity and the Fund for Independence in Journalism.
Oh, and not that they were counting, but,the study found 935 false statements in two years.
