Seems while Osama bin Laden has been “hiding out” somewhere in Pakistan or Afghanistan, he’s managed to get a new job-network executive. That’s right,a Saudi researcher says Osama bin Laden heads an Islamist network of Web sites used to spreaed the ideology of al Qaeda around the world, according to Reuters.

The researcher told a national security conference that there are more than 5,600 web sites carrying the al Qaeda network message and that each year 900 more join their ranks.

The researcher told Reuters that “the real battle with al Qaeda is no longer on the ground, but rather a media battle, and it is a real threat to national security.”

So, there you have it. While the entire U.S.armed forces can’t seem to find the guy, he’s been building a new media career right under our very noses.

Anyone know if these terrorist sites run ads??
