Well this is unexpected: President Bush lied!! Wow. Who would have thought?

In this case, it’s his former press secretary, Scott McClellan who thinks it; in fact, he even says it in his new book about to be published.

In it, McClellan says Bush and others in the White House misled him, causing him, reports Reuters, to misinform the entire press corps about the Valerie Plame/CIA leak case.

“I had unknowingly passed along false information. And, five of the highest ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so,” he writes. “Rove(Karl Rove),Libby (Lewis “Scooter” Libby),the vice-president, the president’s chief of staff, and the president himself.”

Couldn’t be much clear than that.

So, there you have it. From an insider. Bush lied. And, should that come as a surprise to you, don’t go to Vegas. You’ll be “shocked” that gambling is going on there.
