Sen. Larry Craig Flushing Resignation Down The Toilet??

Is Sen. Larry Craig’s resignation from the Senate going down the toilet…so to speak?

Maybe.

Word today that the “I have a wide stance” senator from Idaho is thinking about un-resigning.

Apparently, Craig has hired an expensive lawyer to see whether he can also un-plead guilty to that misdemeanor charge stemming from his alleged close encounter of that fourth kind with an undercover but overexposed cop just one bowel over.

Craig is clearly trying to flush out what the true feelings of the Senate might be should he decide to hang around–presumably in the Senate chamber and not the men’s room.
