There seems to be no shortage of celebrity types getting into trouble with the law..But, it is imporant if you are famous to conduct youself with dignity when finding oneself in handcuffs or in the rear of a police cruiser.

In other words, like anything else, there is a right way and a wrong way to pull this off.

Paris Hilton did it the wrong way!

She broke down in tears. She cried for her Mommy. And, horror of horrors, she actually allowed herself to be photographed in public sans make-up. In Hollywood, this is a mortal sin. Every time Elizabeth Taylor choked on a fish bone or something and had to be rushed to the emergency room, think she didn’t make sure she was all made-up first? Of course she did.

So this posting is really aimed at YOU, the media star. You know who you are! You’re the one who never actually pays for anything.

Learn a valuable lesson from Ms. Hilton-Keep your make-up kit within easy reach in case the cops come knocking at your door. Make sure you do all of your crying BEFORE being escorted out of your mansion (I presume here that you do have a mansion. If not, stop reading this post. You are NO media star!) and, here’s a real important media tip when arrested–Never, ever, never, ever, never, ever,never,ever,never,ever cry for your Mommy if you are over 6. Just doesn’t help the image you know.
